Gayle S. Larsen

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Arthur Sr. and Clara (Whitfield) Taylor.

She was first married to Charles “Bud” Campbell, who preceded her in death; and later married John Larsen, who also preceded her in death.

Gayle is survived by a son, Larry (Maria) Campbell; three grandchildren: Dylena (Campbell) Diehl, Joshua Anspach and Jimmy Moyer; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jackie Sontgerath.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Robyn Moyer; a brother, Arthur Taylor; and a sister, Robyn Sader.

Gayle was a 1958 graduate of Altoona High School and later retired from Casual Corner in the Logan Valley Mall.

She enjoyed shopping and reading. No matter the day, Gayle always had a smile on her face.

A special thanks to Heidi, Fred and Chris at Olivia Village, where she resided.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or services.

Arrangements are by Leslie E. Axe Funeral Home. Interment will be at Rose Hill Cemetery.
