Dana Daugherty

She graduated from Tyrone Area High School in 1981 and went on to earn a nurse’s aide certificate. She worked in health care for many years.

Dana was married to Bruce Daugherty Sr. The couple had five children: Bruce Daugherty Jr., Matthew Daugherty (Sheila), Christina Wiser (Chris), Jessica Daugherty and David Daugherty.

Dana was best known for the love she had for her dogs and cats throughout her lifetime. Her dog, Tucker, held a special place in her heart. Dana also became quite fond of keeping and raising her chickens.

She adored and spoiled her grandchildren: Lexie, Emmalyn, Violet, Declan, Ezra, Parker, Madelyn, Myra, Finley, Brayden and Briliee.

Dana is survived by her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and a special aunt, Phyllis Walk.

Friends will be received from noon until the 2 p.m. funeral service on Monday, Feb. 2, 2026, at Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc., Tyrone.
