Wallace L. ‘Wally’ Brubaker

Wallace L. “Wally” Brubaker, 85, Duncansville, died Saturday at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Altoona. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Nelson and Josephine (Riley) Brubaker.
He married Ethel M. Dryburg, who preceded him in death on May 1, 1992.
Surviving are six children: Diana Brubaker (Linda) of Altoona, Brenda Mervine (Dave) of Altoona, Christine Eger of Duncansville, Wallace Brubaker Jr. (Sandy) of Duncansville, William “Bill” Brubaker (Carolyn) of Frankstown and Vicki Graham; seven grandchildren: Brittany, Kylie, Shana, William, Cory, Shannon and Kendra; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his three siblings: Nelson Jr., JoAnn Morgan-Ling and Joyce Maher.
Wally was a retired self-employed subcontractor. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed watching Westerns.
Friends will be received from 4 until the 7 p.m. Celebration of Life on Friday, Dec. 5, 2025, at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Duncansville.
