Thomas Johnathan "Tommy" Meloy, 28, of Hollidaysburg, went to be with the Lord on Monday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Thomas B. Meloy and Jaime B. Tempest.

Tommy is survived by his paternal grandmother, Jean (Kann) Meloy; an aunt, Natalie L. (Meloy) Ferrucci; his cousin, Leila J. Ferrucci; three siblings: Harleigh J. Thoma, Tanner Hoover and Gracie Hoover; his girlfriend, Katerina D. "Kat" Bennett; and his beloved German Shephard, Emma. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Alva W. Tempest and Susan J. Rittenhouse.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John H. Meloy MD.

Tommy was a 2016 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School and received his welding certification from the Greater Altoona Career and Technology Center.

He was employed as a welder at various locations within the surrounding Altoona area.

Tommy was a car enthusiast and loved driving around specifically in his "little blue car of terror." He had a passion for dirt track and street bike racing and enjoyed playing video games, especially his racing simulator set up. Tommy also loved snowboarding with his cousin, Lelia, and reminisced greatly on his trips to Colorado with his girlfriend, Kat, and his faithful companion, Emma. Above all, Tommy adored spending time with his late father and he loved racing RC cars and working on cars with him, a passion Tommy continued to do in his memory.
