Sharon L. Rhodes, 61, of Roaring Spring, passed unexpectedly Tuesday morning at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh. She was born in Roaring Spring, the daughter of Virginia L. (McReady) Stiffler and the late Alfred L. Stiffler.
She married Mark E. Rhodes on April 15, 1986.
She is survived by her mother; her husband; three siblings: Richard L. Stiffler, Karolyn L. (Stiffler) Hoover and husband, David W. Jr., and Brian L. Stiffler; a sister-in-law, Suzanne R. Hahn and husband, Anthony; and many nieces and nephews.
Sharon was a 1982 graduate of Central High School.
After high school, she started her employment at Homewood at Martinsburg and obtained her CNA certification. She then received her certification for Alzheimer's and Dementia and had worked in the Alzheimer's and Dementia section at the home. She was currently working in resident transportation for the home.
She enjoyed go-kart racing with her husband, helping others, her cats and especially loved spending time with her family.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 19, 2025, at Todd T. Thompson Funeral Home Inc., Roaring Spring; and from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Saturday, Dec. 20, 2025, at Bice Memorial Chapel at Homewood at Martinsburg, with the Rev. Gerald McCuller officiating. Interment will be made at Greenlawn Cemetery.
