Marjorie Forsht, 93, Altoona, passed away Wednesday at Graystone Manor at Bellmeade. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Maurice and Marie (Hafer) Smith.
She married Cloyd F. Forsht on May 5, 1951, at Juniata United Methodist Church. He preceded her in death on April 19, 2008.
She is survived by two daughters, Ann Klausing and her husband, Bruce, in Williamsburg, Va., and Amy Forsht of Dyke, Va.; a former son-in-law, Kevin Forr; two grandchildren, Evan Forr and Taylor Reid (Hunter); and two great-grandchildren, August and Owen.
She was preceded in death by six siblings: Earl, Thomas, Albert, Dorothy, Ruth and Connie.
Marjorie was a 1950 graduate of Bellwood-Antis High School.
She and her husband were co-owners of Forsht Concrete Co., Grandview Cemetery and the Hydraulic Dolly Co. for many years.
She was a member of Juniata United Methodist Church for more than 50 years.
At the request of the deceased, no public services will be held. Interment will take place at Grandview Cemetery.
