Louella Jane Grazier, 87, Altoona, passed away Tuesday. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Walter Russell and Violet Beatrice (Nail) Wertz.
On Sept. 28, 1955, she married Clarence Edgar Grazier Jr. He preceded her in death.
Louella is survived by her children: Joseph Grazier, Darlene Grazier, Crystal Grazier (John Koeck), Belinda Aiken (Bob) and Chuck Grazier (Cindy); grandchildren: Lauren Hoover (Matt), Jess O’Neil (Shawn), Bryant and Amanda; great-grandchildren: Elijah, Lena, Samuel, David, Lilly and Brooklyn; siblings, Barbara Settlemyer (Robert) and Donald Wertz; and sisters-in-law, Sue Wertz and Tottie Wertz.
She was preceded in death by her longtime companion, Frank Spagnola; a granddaughter, Tina Aiken; and siblings: Violet, Myrtle, Walter, William, John, Robert “Spike” and Herman.
Louella was an active member of the Bavarian-Auxiliary and VFW Apache.
She had a zest for life that shone through in her many interests. She was passionate about NASCAR, with Rusty Wallace being her favorite driver, and enjoyed both horse racing and game shows like The Price Is Right. Additionally, she spent many enjoyable times playing bingo and visiting the casino.
Family and friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 8, 2025, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., 719 N. Fourth Ave., Altoona.
Family and friends will also be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025, at the funeral home, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 11 a.m.
Interment will be made at Grandview Cemetery.
