Leo H. Johnston, 73, of Patton, passed away Wednesday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Clarence and Elizabeth (Leitz) Johnston. Leo was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Tom Ivory. Surviving are brothers, James and William; sisters, Luann Ivory and Nancy Kruis; and many nieces and nephews. Leo loved to cook and quilt in his spare time. In recent years, he dedicated his time to Saint Anne's Society at St. Bartholomew parish. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 5, 2025, at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, Colver. Arrangements are by Gibbons-Houser Funeral Home Inc., Gallitzin.
