John William Patton, 75, Bellwood, passed away Nov. 25, 2025, at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Altoona, son of Harold and Clare Ann (Garman) Patton.
John was preceded in death by his parents; and father and mother-in-law, Grover and Martha Spotts.
He is survived by his loving wife, Marsha (Spotts) Patton; son, John Patton and wife, Mary; grandchildren, Mason Patton and fiancee, Anna Rightenour, and Braden Patton; sister, LeeAnn Shank and husband, Louie; brother-in-law, Stan Spotts; special sister-in-law, Lowella Thoman and husband, John; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Dave, Greg and Melvin.
John was a graduate of Bellwood-Antis High School. He retired after 39 years at Beasley Rebuilders as a machinist and also drove a school bus for Bellwood-Antis School District.
He enjoyed working on classic cars and tinkering around in his garage.
Friends and family will be received from 11 a.m. until the service at noon Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025, at Rose Hill Funeral & Cremation Care Inc., 118 Rosehill Cemetery Drive, Altoona, with Pastor Stan Gill.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Central Pennsylvania Humane Society, 1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602.
