Jane Louise Fields

On Dec. 21, 1955, she married Fred R. Fields. He preceded her in death on Jan. 17, 2017.

She is survived by two sons, Ronald (Valerie) Fields of Katy, Texas, and Randy (Hattie) Fields

of Sealy, Texas; and grandchildren: Evelyn Fields, Justin Fields, Rosalie (Timothy) Viveiros, Fredrick Fields, Kasandra (Chrisopher) Adams and Vanessa (Kevin) Halls; and a great-grandson, Jackson Adams.

Jane retired as a school bus driver and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she sang in the choir and served in various other capacities.

As a devoted mother and caring figure, Jane’s legacy of love and kindness will resonate within the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed, but fondly remembered for her generous spirit and the warmth she brought into the lives of others.

She served in the U.S. Army as a Technical Sergeant.

A funeral service will be held at noon on Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2025, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home Inc., 719 N. Fourth Ave., Altoona. Interment will be made at Grandview Cemetery.
