Donald Robert Holland Sr., 59, Claysburg, passed away Saturday.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late Robert Holland and Jerrlynn Calzaferri. On Feb. 14, 2000, he married Tracey A. Mentzer at Claysburg Church of the Brethren.
Surviving are his wife, Tracey A. Holland; a son, Donald Robert Holland Jr. and wife, Kylie; a grandson, Camden Allen Holland; a granddaughter, Delilah Redinger; and sisters, Becky Snyder and Gina Kunitisky.
Donald was a 1984 graduate of Altoona Area High School and served in the U.S. Army from 1985-88. He was a member of the
Newburg Fire Company and the Claysburg Area Volunteer Fire Department since 1995, attended
Claysburg Church of the Brethren and was a member of Smokey Run Rod & Gun Club.
Donnie loved fishing, hunting, racing and spending time with his son, grandson and granddaughter.
Friends will be received from noon until the 2 p.m. funeral service Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2025, at Claysburg Church of the Brethren, Pastor Daryl Cyrus, officiating.
Interment will be at Upper Claar Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to the funeral home or to the family to help with expenses.
