Dennis Ray Glass, 81, formerly of Claysburg, passed away Dec. 20, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family at Windber Hospice.
Dennis, known affectionately as Denny, was a 1961 graduate of Greenfield-Kimmel High School He was an Electronic Technician and a proud decorated United States Army veteran who served honorably in Korea. He carried deep pride in his military service, a strength and dedication that remained with him throughout his life.
Denny was a devoted provider and family man, known for his unwavering love and unconditional support. He deeply loved all of his family and found great joy in life's simple pleasures -- especially karaoke, with Elvis Presley always being his favorite. His pride and joy was his beloved dog, Gracie, who brought him constant companionship.
Denny was preceded in death by his mother, Joan Glass; and his father, Jacob Glass. He will also be reunited with two grandsons, Jakob and Shane; and his nephew, Shawn; along with many other friends and family who passed before him.
He leaves behind his wife of 60 years, Linda; his three children: Tim (Patty), Tina and Tiffany; and an endless number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom he was always present for and loved tremendously. He is also survived by his four brothers: Kevin, Randy (Nancy), John (Bridget) and Jimmy; and his only sister, Linda Smith (Jeff).
Denny will be deeply missed and forever remembered for his strength, devotion, service and the love he shared so freely with those around him.
Friends will be received from 1 until the 3 p.m. funeral service Monday, Dec. 29, 2025, at Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg, with Pastor Deborah Holland officiating. Interment at Greenfield Cemetery.
