David B. Woodley, 81, Patton, passed away Friday at home, surrounded by family. He was born in
Hastings, a son of Charles and Anna (Owens) Woodley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Judith Woodley, whom he married on June 20, 1964; and brothers, Eugene and Frederick Woodley.
He is survived by children, David (Lisa) Woodley, Brian Woodley and Tina (Patrick) Murphy;
grandchildren: Haley (Brett) Donoughe, Zachary (Kaitlin) Woodley, Tyler (Rose) Woodley, Olivia (Kelsey) Woodley, Blake Murphy and Rylie Murphy; great-grandchildren: Crew, Arlo, Lennox, Isla and Sutton Woodley; sisters, Martha Lansberry and Patricia Snyder; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Dave retired from Penelec.
He was a member of the Queen of Peace Church and Knights of Columbus.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, sports, camping and spending time with his best friend, Barb Pompa.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hillman's Cancer Center.
Family and friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2025, at Stevens Funeral Home Inc., 1004 Fifth Ave., Patton.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, 2025, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Patton. Committal at St. Bernards Cemetery.
