Allen Richard Walters

He met Terri Kane in 2006 and they married in 2021.

He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Jessica Aungst and husband, Jeff, of Altoona and Kylie Walters-Williams and husband, Mark, of Hollidaysburg; grandchildren, Gavin and Thayne; a great-granddaughter, Hadley Jo; and stepgrandchildren, Ezra and Atticus. He is also survived by siblings: Robert Helsley of Hollidaysburg, David Helsley of Somerset, Pat England of Williamsburg, Carol Isenberg of Tyrone, Deb Gardner of Hollidaysburg and Kimberly Shaffer of East Freedom.

Allen was preceded in death by siblings: Shirley Irvin, Ron Helsley, Bill Helsley, Linda Robinson and Joe Helsley.

He graduated from Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School and worked hard for many years until his retirement.

Allen was a member of the Two Lick Valley Rod and Gun Club, Bellwood UVHA and the Frankstown Sportsman Club.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, wrestling, karaoke, bowling, shooting pool and all things outdoors and sports. He loved spending time with his family and childhood friends, Tom Gearhart and Mike Gampe.

The family will hold a private service at a later date.
