Ronald L. Filer, 93, of Hollidaysburg, died Thursday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Gordon and Dorothy (Ricketts) Filer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores "Dee"; his sister, Linda; and two great-grandchildren. Surviving are children; Bill, Betsy Ellis, Brian and Belinda; stepchildren: Bill Miller, Bob Miller, Vickie Woomer, Terrie Gigliotti and Pattie Gorski; and several grandchildren. Ronald was an active member of the Horseshoe Chorus. He loved spending time with his dog Joey. Arrangements are by Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
