Ronald F. Frye, 81, of Altoona, passed away Friday. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Blair Frye and Vivian Walter. Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Betty; daughters, Dorinda Folen and Wendy Longenecker; grandchildren, Jeffery and Joshua; great-grandchildren: Silas, Ellie and Ezra; and sisters: Lisa, Karen and JoAnn. He was preceded in death by seven siblings: Zane, Butch, Patty, Steven, Billy, Debbie and Cathy. Ron enjoyed hunting, four-wheeling, NASCAR and the Steelers. Friends will be received from 2 until the 4 p.m. service Monday, Nov. 3, 2025, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
