Mark T. Lechene, 72, Patton, passed away Tuesday at Conemaugh Miners Medical Center, Hastings. He was born in Warren, Mich., son of the late Leo and Rose Marie (Hoste) Lechene.
Surviving are his loving wife of 48 years, Diane (Diehl) Lechene; sons, Craig Lechene in North Carolina; Nathan (Wanda) Lechene of Flinton; Eric (Jennifer) Lechene of Houston, Pa.; Tim (Katie) Lechene of Beaver Falls; grandchildren: Bella, Corbin, Evan, Eli, Owen, Amsey, AJ, Ariana and Oliver. Also surviving are siblings: Louise Lechene in South Carolina, Leon Lechene of Cherry Tree, Kevin Lechene in South Carolina, John Lechene of Patton, Annette Ebbs of Northern Cambria, Suzette Lechene of Gettysburg, Mary Bennett of Shelocta, Denise Botsford of Indiana, Pa., and Tom Lechene of Etters.
Mark was a husband, father, grandfather, a deacon in his church and served for 30 years as township supervisor for Chest Township. His light shined brightly through his love of family, service to others and his sense of humor.
He was a member of Patton Presbyterian Church, board member at Rock Run Recreation, self-employed Heavy Equipment A/C Repair Technician and partner in L & L Service and Supply.
Friends and family will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, 2025, at Moriconi Funeral Home Inc., 1303 Bigler Ave., Northern Cambria.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 7, 2025, at Patton Presbyterian Church, with Pastor Alice Tondora, officiating. Interment will be in the family cemetery.
