Joseph ‘Joe’ Snyder

He is survived by his wife, Janet; sons, Billy and Joseph “Butch”; daughter, Tracey; siblings, Margaret

Dryburgh and Barbara Wilson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Duke and Eddy; and sisters, Patsy and Jackie.

Joe was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in Panama. He later lived and worked in North Carolina.

After retirement, he moved back to Altoona. He loved the outdoors and found joy in hunting, fishing and gardening. He cherished his home where he could watch the wild life come into his yard, and he enjoyed his beagles, Shane and Willow. Above all else, he loved his family.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
