Carol Ann (Lantz) Rightenour

On Feb. 24, 1965, in Pinecroft, she married John J. Rightenour Sr.; together they spent 59 years until his passing on March 20, 2024.

Carol loved her family and puppies. She enjoyed going to bingo and playing games. Carol was an amazing cook, making sure no family member or friend went hungry.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, John; grandson, Kaleb J. Rightenour; brothers: Clarence, Robert and Russell; and sisters: Dorothy, Betty and Jean.

Surviving are her son, John J. Rightenour Jr. and wife, Aleah, of Woodbury; daughter, Cathy Guyer and husband, Lee, of Woodbury; grandson, Kaden Rightenour and fiancee, Katie, of Woodbury; brother, Fletcher Lantz of Colorado Springs, Colo; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 10 until the 11 a.m. memorial service Friday, Nov. 14, 2025, at Fink & Stone Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 114 Main St., Woodbury. Family and friends attending the service, please have a memory of Carol to share with all; there are so many good ones. Interment will be at Diehl’s Crossroads Church Cemetery, Martinsburg.
