Arlene J. Zanfino, 84, of Bellwood, passed away Thursday afternoon at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Altoona, the daughter of the late Joseph and Wilma (Craft) Turchetta.
Arlene married Paul Zanfino, who preceded her in death on May 20, 2005.
She is survived by two daughters, Christina Payne (Sean) of Spring Lake, N.C., and Nikki Carey (Darren) of Altoona; two grandchildren, Stephen Payne and Brianna Koehle; five great-grandchildren: Aiden, Easton, Jensen, Aspen and Jagger; and her sister, Gina Berry of Cleveland, Ohio.
Arlene was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Zanfino; and grandson, Sean P. Payne Jr.
She was a graduate of Altoona High School and retired after a lengthy career in retail.
Arlene was a member at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends at Bell Mansion, but she especially looked forward to time with her grandchildren.
Friends will be received from 4 to 5 p.m., Monday, Nov. 10, 2025, at The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 5 p.m. in the Stevens Memorial Chapel.
Interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
