William Henry Lane, 68, of Altoona, passed away Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, at Midtown Oaks Health and Rehab Center. Born Nov. 29, 1956, in Philadelphia, son of the late Dorothy McFarland. On Dec. 25, 2012, he married Jacqueline McDuffie Irby. She preceded him in death on Oct. 7, 2017. Survived by stepson Archie Irby; two stepgrandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren. Also preceded in death by siblings: Nathaniel Lane, Vonseal Foxworth, Sharon Lane, Alice Lane, Kay Lane, Keith Lane and Debbie Lane. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
