Virgina ‘Ginny’ Simala

Virgina “Ginny” Simala, 94, passed away Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025. Daughter of the late Paul and Mary (Cooper) Talko. Preceded in death by her husband, Francis J. “Fussy” Simala, she is survived by children: John, Robert and Kurt Simala, Nadine Elias and Alicia Weaver. Friends received from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, and from 9 to 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, at Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Portage. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, 2025, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Portage. Internment at St. Mary Cemetery, Portage, to follow.
