Susan E. (Spidle) Rhodes, 76, of Altoona, originally of Newry, died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2025, at home. She was born April 10, 1949, in Newry, a daughter of John and Mary Louise Spidle.
Susan married Larry Rhodes on July 22, 1973, and they shared 52 years of marriage together.
She is survived by her siblings: Cathy Butler, Anne Conrad, Bruce Spidle, Joyce Spidle, Diane Yoder and Carolyn Morris; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, David Spidle and J. Michael Spidle.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2025, at St. Patrick's Church, Newry, with luncheon to follow in the social hall.
