Shirley L. Corrado

She was born in Bellwood, daughter of the late Edwin G. and Helen (Lackove) Snyder.

On Dec. 12, 1953, she married Ronald D. Corrado in Lewistown. He preceded her in death on Dec. 7, 1992.

She is survived by her four children: Terri (James) Stein of Port Charlotte, Fla., Cathy Corrado of St. Thomas, LuAnn (Paul) Blazier of Antis Township and Ronald (Fawn) of Bellwood; seven grandchildren: Jon, Julie, Ryan, Lucas, Andrew, Caleb and Joey; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda Weyant; and a granddaughter, Brianne Shoop. She was the last of her immediate family and was preceded in death by her siblings: Dorothy Davis, Gladys Pulcinello, Jane McClellan, Ronnie, Wayne, Bill, Evelyn Padula, Nancy Wertz and Richard “Sonny.”

Shirley was a lifelong member of Bellwood Cross of Calvary Church, where she was very active in serving her Lord and church.

Along with her faith, one of her greatest joys was spending time with her loving family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2025, at Bellwood Cross of Calvary Church. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the church, Norm Saylor officiating. Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township.

Arrangements are by Jon C. Russin Funeral Home Inc., Bellwood.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Shirley’s memory be made to Bellwood Cross of Calvary Church or a charity of your choice.
