Shirley G. (Vandrew) Snyder, 96, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Tuesday at her home. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Thomas and Nora (Shaw) Vandrew.
She married the late Ellsworth "June" Snyder on June 18, 1949.
Surviving are her daughters: Sharon Roach and husband, Paul, in Indiana; Karen Swab of Duncansville; and Bobbi Decker and husband, Dwayne, of Hollidaysburg; a son, David and wife, Sandy, of Duncansville; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sisters: Mary Jane Shoop, Lois Noal and Donna Edmundson all of Hollidaysburg; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a son-in-law, Jerry Swab; and a sister, Leona Burk.
Shirley taught Sunday school for 50 years at Foot of Ten Independent Bible Church in Duncansville.
She enjoyed traveling, spending time with her family and going on beach trips. Having daily meetings with her sisters was also important to her.
At the request of the family, no public services will be held. Arrangements are by Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.
