Shirley Ann (Dishong) Steele

Shirley Ann Steele, 86, of Everett, formerly of New Enterprise, passed away Wednesday. She was born in Everett, daughter of the late Joseph Roy and Florence A. (Weyant) Dishong. Shirley was a Class of 1958 graduate of Everett High School and Methodist in faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, John; and siblings: Dorothy Barton, Martin Dishong, Lillian Clark Layton, Cecilia “Todd” Clark, Hazel Dishong, Richard Dishong and Doris Hoffman. Friends will be received from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, at Fink & Stone Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 114 Main St., Woodbury.
