Robert Wray "Ramos" Beichler, 84, of Bellwood, died Monday afternoon at his home. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Oscar Wray and Gertrude R. (Young) Beichler.
On March 21, 1997, he married Carol A. Fetterman in Winchester, Va.
Surviving are his wife, Carol; his three children: Brenda (Larry) Sullivan in Louisiana, Kenny (Stephanie) Beichler in Mississippi and Dale (Jennifer) Beichler in Florida; three granddaughters: Tara, Paige and Megan; two great-granddaughters, Harper and Evelyn; several stepgrandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by sisters, Joan Shawley and Judy Datres.
Ramos was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam era.
He was a member of Bellwood VFW and a 40-year member of the Animals Motorcycle Club.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and berry-picking.
To honor his request, there will be no viewing, visitation or funeral service. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
