Robert A. Brandt, 61, of Altoona, passed away Monday at home surrounded by his family and friends, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Janet Lynch.
Surviving is his wife and companion for the past 29 years, Tammie Albright; daughter, Nichole (Donald); granddaughters, Ashley and Megan; his loving niece, Taylor; and three siblings.
Bobby was a longtime brother of Arandale Lodge #184 IBPOEW. During his tenure, he served as Exalted Ruler, Loyal Knight, Lecturing Knight, House Committee and Trustee. As a brother of Arandale Lodge #184, he volunteered hundreds of hours to the members, the brothers and the community.
Robert retired from the Carpenter Company and previously worked for General Cable. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and family trips to Disney.
Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, 2025, at Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg.
A celebration of Bobby's life will be held at noon Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, at the Arandale Elks Lodge #184, 2001 Margaret Ave., Altoona.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Arandale Elks Lodge #184.
