Paul C. Mock, 72, Ebensburg, died Sunday in Johnstown. He was born in Johnstown, son of William and Lucy (Mangus) Mock.
Paul was preceded in death by his father; his wife, Elizabeth (Krug) Mock; and brother, William Mock.
Surviving are his mother, Lucy; son, Brian (Dorothy Jean Rogers); grandchildren: Brittany Johnston, Christina Mock and Lani Mock; and great-grandchildren, Weston and Madi Johnston. Paul is also survived by these brothers and sisters: Carol (Bob) Malone, Pat (Jackie) Mock, Charlie (Dorene) Mock, Cathy (Denny) Byrne, Mary (Mick) Driskel and Christine (Andy) Alvarez. Also surviving is his special company, his dog Nik Nik.
Paul was a Marine veteran and served during the Vietnam War in the Pacific Theater. He retired from the U.S. Army Reserves and from SCI Cresson.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2025, at Matevish and Matevish Funeral Home, Ebensburg.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, 2025, at the Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel, Loretto, with the Very Rev. Father John Byrnes.
