Lynn O. Granville

Sept. 13, 1951 – Oct. 4, 2025

Lynn O. Granville, 74, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Saturday at Passavant Hospital in Pittsburgh. He was born in Altoona, a son of the late Leonard and Leona (Oliver) Granville.

On Aug. 17, 1974, in Hollidaysburg, he was united in marriage to Gail (Piper) Granville.

Along with his wife of 51 years, he is survived by children: Michelle Quigley, married to Chris, and Ryan Granville, married to Tasha; grandchildren: Erin Quigley, Katie Quigley, Kye Granville and one grandson on the way; a sister, Linda Allen, married to Bob; and his best friend of more than 60 years, Dan Bartley.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Granville.

Lynn was a graduate of Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School, Class of 1970.

He was a member of St. John's Reformed Church in Hollidaysburg, as well as The Bavarian Aid Society and the Newburg Social Hall.

Lynn retired from PPG after 43 years, where he had worked as a forklift operator and yard jockey.

He was a hardworking soul with a heart full of love for his family and a lifelong passion for cars. He found joy in helping others, cherished every moment with his grandkids and loved nothing more than watching people go by from his chair in the driveway.

Friends and family will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 9, 2025, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., 108 Alto-Reste Park, Altoona; and from 10 until the 11 a.m. service Friday, Oct. 10, 2025, at the funeral home, with Pastor Timothy McNutt officiating.

Burial will be held privately at Alto-Reste Park, Altoona.
