Louis J. Maierhofer, born Ludwig J. Maierhofer, 98, Hollidaysburg, died Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, at his residence. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, 2025, at The Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 24, 2025, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Altoona. Committal will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery.
