Joann R. Brown, 95, of Mill Hall, formerly of Altoona, passed away Monday at Geisinger Jersey Shore Hospital. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Paul and Claire (Burley) Riggleman.
She married William H. Brown, who preceded her in death on July 8, 1983.
Surviving are her loving daughter, Debra M. Wagner of Mill Hall; two grandchildren, Lisa M. Yingling of Altoona and Kenneth P. Fisher of Lock Haven; and a great-grandson, Ellis X. Fisher; She is also survived by her sister, Sharon; and two brothers, Larry (Carol) and Terry (Lois); as well as several stepgrandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by eight brothers; and three sisters.
Joann cherished time spent with her family, especially with her daughter and grandchildren.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025, at The Good Funeral Home Inc., 108 Alto-Reste Park, Altoona. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. officiated by Pastor James Neatrour. Private interment will take place at Alto-Reste Park, Altoona.
