Ida K. Miller, 93, Tipton, died Thursday evening at UPMC Altoona.
She was born in Tipton, daughter of the late John and Louise (Singleton) Cherry. On June 24, 1950, she married Rolley Gene Miller at Tipton Baptist Church.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 75 years; five children: Dennis G. (Arlene), Vincent L., Robbie W. (Tracy) and David Q. (Valerie), all of Antis Township, and Annette A. (Kevin) Fry of Tyrone; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three sisters: Frances Paine in California, Eleanor Vandevander of Antis Township and Faye Price of Tyrone.
She was preceded in death by siblings: Frita Maxine, Naomi, Doris, John, Ruth Ann, Brenda, Ralph and Ronnie.
Ida was a member of Tipton Baptist Church and taught Sunday school for more than 50 years.
She loved children and enjoyed babysitting.
Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2025, and also from 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2025, at Covenant Community Church, Bellwood. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the church, Pastor Jason Mauk officiating.
Interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township.
The family suggests that contributions in Ida's memory be made to Tipton Baptist Church.
