Emily M. (Jones) Blatt, 87, of Duncansville, passed away Tuesday at Celebration Villa of Altoona. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Herbert C. Sr. and Martha J. (Nixon) Jones.
On Jan. 15, 1959, in Cumberland, Md., she was united in marriage to John W. Blatt. He preceded her in death on Feb. 12, 2024.
Emily was a graduate of Robert P. Smith High School and member of the North Altoona Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John; three brothers; and two sisters.
Surviving are sons: Michael D. Blatt and wife, Jeanne Kotula, of Corning, N.Y., and David J. Blatt and wife, Christine, of Altoona; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12, 2025, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 805 S. 16th St., Altoona, with Eric Mills officiating. Inurnment will be at Logan Valley Cemetery.
