Donald Eugene "Gene" Banks, 91, of Altoona, passed away Thursday, Oct. 23, 2025, at his home. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3, 2025, at Faith Baptist Church, 315 40th St., Altoona, where a funeral service will begin at 6 p.m. with Dr. Gary Dull officiating. Arrangements are by Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg. A complete obituary will appear in the Mirror at a later date.
