Steven Michael Ardizzone

He married Debra (Tavela) on Oct. 21, 1995.

Steve was an Air Force veteran, serving from May 1990 to June 1997. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 2024 after 30 years of service.

Steve was preceded in death by his father in 2001.

He is survived by his wife; his mother; two sons, Zachary (Victoria) of Yatesville, Pa., and Benjamin of Altoona; a grandson, Olliver Stevey of Altoona; two brothers, Dan and Joe (Marcia); a sister, Kathi; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sandy and Ernie Tavela of Brookline, N.H.; a sister-in-law, Dawn (Steve); three nephews: Matthew (Cheyanne), Christopher and Bryant; and three nieces: Alexis, Carissa and Olivia.

Steve was a beloved husband, son, father, brother and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an outgoing sports enthusiast and loved cooking and organizing golf outings and retirement parties for his fellow postal service workers.

The family would like to thank the staff on the sixth floor at the Van Zandt Medical Center, especially the nursing staff, dietary, PT and OT and Chaplain Ben.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no public services.
