Patricia Anne "Nana" (Hilling) Barefoot, 90, Hollidaysburg, passed away peacefully Saturday at her daughter's residence.
She was a daughter of the late William R. and Evelyn W. (Greenawalt) Hilling.
Patti was the mother of three children: Kimberlee Barefoot Yingling (Buck Yingling), Tamara Barefoot Over, who preceded her in death, and Brett Barefoot. Surviving are her grandchildren: Angelina (Johnnie) Jackson, Zackary Over, Jacob Over, Meaghan (Piper) Over, Maxwell Barefoot and Violet (Yingling) Conner; and great-grandchildren: Dylan, Deven and Kassidee (Angelina) and Miles (Zackary). Also surviving are her siblings: Connie Hilling, Nona (Hilling) Albarano, William (Janice), Harold "Cork," James (Marilyn) and Ronald (Sandy) Hilling; numerous nieces and nephews; her best friend of more than 60 years, Lois Decker; and Pinnacle Hospice aide, Stephanie Rainey, who has been a blessing to us all over the last three years.
In addition to her daughter, Tamara, she was preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and loving husband, N. Fred Barefoot; a sister, Donna Hilling; a grandson, Lucas Over; and grandchildren: Travis Johnnie, Nicholas Over and Zoe Barefoot.
She was a 1952 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and was employed for 25 years at JCPenney as a customer service specialist.
Patti loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, her lunch dates with friends and watching her Pittsburgh Steelers (her Steelers blanket was always on her lap).

At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing. A private service may be held at the discretion of the family at a later date.
