John M. Hinterberger, 68, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Thursday surrounded by family after a prolonged illness. He was born in Altoona, son of the late John C. and Theresa (Mottner) Hinterberger.
Surviving are his daughter, Michelle Lockard and husband, Shane; two sons, Josh and fiancee, Kylie, and Shawn; seven grandchildren; a brother, Rick; and former spouse, Pam Hinterberger.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Hinterberger.
John was a 1975 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School and retired as an auto body tech from Fiore Buick in 2018.
He enjoyed riding motorcycles and working on cars.
