Harry C. ‘Buss’ Garman

He married Donna Barndollar, who preceded him in death in 2000 after sharing 49 years of marriage.

Surviving are a daughter, Susan White and husband, Dennis, of Duncansville; a son, John and wife, Debra, of Hollidaysburg; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four sisters: Betty Baker, Nora Zapotoczny, Judy Lynn and Cathy Woods; and a brother, Steve.

Buss was preceded in death by a son, Robert, in 2003; and siblings: Don, Roger and Beverly Thomas.

He retired from Berwind-White Rail Shops after 20 years as a welder.

Buss was a member of St. Patrick Church in Newry.

He was a great outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, rifle shoots and throwing horseshoes.

Friends will be received from noon until 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, 2025, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Father Alan P. Zeth officiating.

Private interment at New St. Mary Cemetery.
