Christopher J. Bost, 36, Ebensburg, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2025, at his residence.
He was born in Altoona, son of Jack and Kathy (Schall) Bost.
Surviving are his parents; maternal grandmother, Grace Schall; sisters, Jackie (Cam) Kyle and Abbey (special friend, Michael Conrad) Bost; nieces, Maddie and Hallie; a nephew, Noah Kyle; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends; and special pets, Stella and Marv.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John Schall; and paternal grandmother, Margie Bost.
Chris was known as a loving son, caring brother, hardworking employee and great friend. Many used the word "kind" to describe him. He would do anything to help others. Chris had a heart of gold. He loved music, guitars, his friends and The Beatles. He will be sorely missed by many.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2025, at Askew-Houser
Funeral Homes Inc., Ebensburg. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2025, at Our Lady of the Alleghenies Roman Catholic Parish, Lilly, the Rev. Matthew Reese, celebrant. Interment will be at St. Brigid's Cemetery, Lilly.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family or to a charity of your choice in Chris's memory.
