Terry Lee Swanson, 83, of Houtzdale, died Sunday. He was born in Clearfield, son of the late Olive (Swanson) Tatters and stepfather, Donald Tatters. Surviving are his wife, Peggy; children, Jeana Bennett and Matt Swanson; several grandchildren; sisters: Shelia, Veronica, Doris Ann and Martha Risbon. Terry was also preceded in death by an infant son; brother, Donnie; and his maternal grandparents, Ansgar and Mary Swanson. Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2025, at Birger A. Freeberg Funeral Home Inc., Houtzdale; and from 9 until the 11 a.m. service Thursday, Aug. 7, 2025, at the funeral home.
