Richard Nelson ‘Rick’ Keller

He was preceded in death by his wife, Denise; his parents; and a very special Honey and Pup (Laverne & Ed Laskosky), who helped make him the amazing man he was.

Rick was a lifelong lover of sports, especially basketball. He very proudly played for the Johnstown Trojans “#34 in your program and #1 in your hearts” and would tell anyone who would listen about those glory days.

He is survived by his three children: Amanda (AJ Daugherty), Alyssa (Ryan Stoltz) and Jace; three grandchildren: Rylan, Parker and Madyn, whom he absolutely adored and was their biggest fan; his sister, Debbie; and several cousins who felt like sisters.

He was never short on words, easy to spot in a crowd and could turn anything into a joke. He was larger than life, loved by many and will be missed deeply.

Friends will be received from 2 until the 4 p.m. memorial service Friday, Aug. 15, 2025, at Grace Fellowship Church, 14 Brethren Lane, Duncansville.
