Rhoda Z. Lechner, 90, of Bellwood, died Friday afternoon at Cedarwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Tyrone. She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Robert M. and Roberta May (Mills) McCloskey.
On Sept. 24, 1958, she married Carl M. Lechner in Greenwood. He preceded her in death on Dec. 17, 2012.
Surviving are her three children: Carl M. Jr. (Deb) and Robert S. (Brenda), both of Bellwood, and Tiffany (Rusty) Koelle of Altoona; three grandchildren: Chelsea Kleinfelter, Ashley Shamus and Sydney Albert; four great-grandchildren: Brynlee, Briar, Crew and Boden; and her two brothers, William H. and David L. McCloskey, both of Bellwood.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert R. McCloskey.
Rhoda was a 1952 graduate of Bellwood-Antis High School and retired as an office manager at Time-Warner Cable Co.
She was a member of Logan Valley Presbyterian Church, Bellwood, and Excelsior Fire Co. No. 1 of Bellwood.
She enjoyed cooking, baking and watching Penn State and Steelers football.
Rhoda's greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren.
To honor her request, there will be no viewing, visitation or funeral service. Arrangements are by Jon C. Russin Funeral Home Inc., Bellwood.
The family suggests that contribution in her memory be made to Logan Valley Presbyterian Church, Bellwood.
