Regina A. Wolf

Oct. 10, 1937 – Aug. 19, 2025

Regina A. Wolf, 87, of Hollidaysburg, peacefully passed away Tuesday at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Schackner) Geissinger.

Regina married James F. Wolf on May 10, 1958, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Altoona.

They shared 67 years of marriage.

Regina is survived by her loving husband, James; her daughter, Cynthia "Cindy" Gehret (James); two grandchildren, Travus Gehret (Rachel) and Kari Klinefelter (Brooke); and two great-grandchildren, Fiona and Farah Gehret. She is also survived by her sister, Arlene Weller; her brother, Joseph F. Geissinger (Sylvia); and nieces and nephews: Susan Wright, David Gehret, Leah Geissinger, Joseph B. Geissinger, Marissa Rhodes and Garrett Madigan.

A 1956 graduate of Altoona High School, Regina worked at Sylvania as a tube heater and welder monitor. She also assisted her husband, James, in their timber business and cared for her mother for many years.

Regina enjoyed her animals, fishing and traveling. Her greatest passion was the time she spent with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her family.

Regina was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Jaggard United Methodist, where she sang in the choir for many years.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, 2025, at The Good Funeral Home, 108 Alto-Reste Park, Altoona. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. officiated by Pastor Fred Hickok. Private interment will take place at Alto-Reste Park, Altoona.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Pennsylvania SPCA, 848 S. Prince St., Lancaster, PA 17603; or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
