Michele "Shellie" (Wyant) McCormick, 53, of Imler, passed away Wednesday at home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Altoona, the daughter of Harold P. and Helen (Casciotti) Wyant.
She married Gerald McCormick Jr. on Aug. 7, 1993.
Surviving are her husband of 32 years, Jerry; her beloved dog, Yogi; her sister, Tricia Warmath (Doug) of Roaring Spring; aunts; and her in-laws.
She was a graduate of Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School.
Shellie enjoyed the simple life of being a homemaker. She loved nature, enjoyed watching movies and spending time with her family and her dogs.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation or services.
