Mary Wilda Hileman, 99, formerly of Hollidaysburg, passed away Thursday morning at Hilltop Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Hollidaysburg, daughter of the late Harold A. and Ethel (Thompson) Hileman.
Mary is survived by her sister, Sara Hileman; many nieces; great-nieces and nephews; and great-great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Harold; and a nephew, Mark.
Mary was a 1943 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School.
She retired from Sylvania and North Phillips after 43 years of service.
She had been a member of The Grace Bible Church since 1947. She taught Sunday school, Junior Church, Jewels for Jesus and the Awana program.
Mary enjoyed teaching children, babysitting, traveling, crocheting and reading. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Friends will be received from 10:30 until the 11 a.m. memorial service Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025, at Plank, Stitt & Stevens Funeral Home, 421 Montgomery St., Hollidaysburg, with Pastor Lou Hileman officiating.
