Frank Charles McIntyre, 79, of East Freedom, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2025, at his home. He was born on Oct. 29, 1945, in Altoona, a son of the late Robert and Hazel (Rowles) McIntyre.
He is survived by children: David McIntyre, married to Elizabeth; John McIntyre, married to Julie; Frank McIntyre Jr.; Lisa Temple, married to Joseph; Laurie Chambers; and Ashley McIntyre; 14 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters: Dolly, Betty and Helen "Sis"; and his companion, Heidi.
Frank attended Altoona Area High School. He worked as the owner and operator of McIntyre's Garage in Claysburg for 40 years. He was of the Christian faith and enjoyed gardening, working on cars and decorating for various holidays.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, 2025, in The Chapel at Alto-Reste Park, 109 Alto-Reste Park, Altoona.
Burial will be held at Alto-Reste Park.
