Cloyd E. "Mac" McMasters, 71, Altoona, died Friday at home. He was born in Roaring Spring, son of the late Jim and Beverly (McMasters) Settle.
He married Rose I. (Saltsgiver) Boston-McMasters on Jan. 31, 1998.
Surviving are his wife of 27 years; two children, Melody and Mark; two granddaughters, Alexis and Aubrie; a great-grandson, River; four stepsons: Bob, Jeff, Rick and Jim; a stepdaughter, Linda; siblings: Patty, Donna, Florence, Debbie, Sara, Tom and Jim; and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his fur-babies, Bear and Murray.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Ruth.
Mac was a 1973 graduate of Altoona Vo-Tech. He retired in 2003 from Norfolk-Southern.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Friends will be received from 3 until the 7 p.m. funeral service Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2025, officiated by Pastor Brad Runkle, at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc., Duncansville.
