Christine L. (Dugan) Harris, 83, of Tyrone, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2025. She was born on Dec. 8, 1941, in Mechanicville, N.Y., a daughter of the late Arthur and Sarah (Sullivan) Dugan.
She is survived by her husband, John K. Harris, whom she married on Dec. 30, 1965, in Mechanicville, N.Y., and was devoted to for nearly 60 years. She was a loving mother to her children: Michael (Marcie Erickson) Harris, Victoria (Jeremiah) Grosser and Valarie (David James) Harris; and a loving Mimi to her grandchildren, Lily and Ryan Grosser. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers and was the last of her immediate family.
Christine was a 1959 graduate of Mechanicville High School, N.Y. After high school, she attended and graduated from Albany Medical Center School of Nursing, where she received her RN license. She was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church in Tyrone.
Christine was known for her great sense of humor and quick wit. She enjoyed reading, doing crosswords and watching game shows, especially Jeopardy. She loved spending time with family. She enjoyed cooking and hosting Sunday dinners, as well as having all of the holidays covered.
Funeral services for Christine L. (Dugan) Harris will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of the Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc.
