Carla Melinda Kruis, 61, of Tyrone, formerly of Glasgow, died Tuesday at her residence. She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Clyde F. Jr. and Lovetta J. (Watson) Kruis. Surviving are brothers, Leslie Kruis and Barry Kruis; and her partner, Greg Maslanik, with whom she lived. She was preceded in death by her parents, a "son," Joseph Costanzo; and a brother, Larry Kruis. Carla was a 1981 graduate of Glendale High School, had been a Mary Kay Cosmetics saleslady and a personal caregiver. There will be no viewing or services. Arrangements are by McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow.
